Thurmont Main Street Plein Air! This fun event brings artists of all levels together to paint a subject matter outside. This outdoor painting event brings artists of all levels to interact with other artists and pick up some painting tips. The subject for this year’s event is “Buildings of Thurmont Main Street”

This year’s judge international artist Yemi Fagbohun will be back again to judge our artists paintings. 1st Place is $400.00, 2nd Place is $300.00, & 3rd place will receive $200.00.

 We invite spectators to walk around Thurmont Main Street from 9a-1p and watch the artists paint, then to the judging at Thurmont Community Park at 2 p.m. (19 Frederick Road) to view the paintings, meet the artists, and purchase the painting if you see one you like😊
